Thirteen entrants played in their age category (U13, U15, U17, U19), and in one big side tourney, we called “The Main event.” Many thanks to Asher Ricci and Aidan Russo, who traveled from Philly and Newport, respectively. Forty-one matches were played over three days. Notably, of the thirteen juniors, only two had family members who had introduced them to the sport. by James Zug In mid-December 2019, the Racquet & Tennis Club hosted the twenty-second annual United States Court Tennis Association dinner and auction during the traditional Whitney Cup weekend. One hundred and ninety-four people came to the dinner. The evening, chaired most ably by Ted Goneos, began with a splendid cocktail hour in the main lounge of the club’s second floor.
