Jimmy Dunn Recap: This year’s Jimmy Dunn was another big one with 154 entrants playing in 16 different categories through Racquets, Doubles Squash, Singles Squash and Doubles Tennis. The Singles Squash was the biggest we have ever had due to the 3 new courts. The matches started Thursday at 2pm and finished Sunday at 5pm with 275 matches being played in total. In addition to 7 fully-subscribed draws in Racquets, Tennis and Squash, the weekend included the Second Leg of the World Racquets Doubles Championship, a Stag Dinner on Thursday Night for 70+ and a festive Saturday Night Dinner Dance for nearly 550.   Over the weekend of October 21st – October 23rd, The Tuxedo Club hosted the 2016 Hadden Tomes handicapped doubles tournament.  Competitors and guests alike were encouraged to dress up (both on and off court) for the ever popular 1970s-themed event.  The Tennis House was extremely busy all weekend with 48 players up from 46 and 42 in 2014 and 2015, respectively.  This year The Tuxedo Club also simultaneously hosted the NARA national age group championships in singles and doubles: the Murray Sales Cup (40+ years of age), the Thomas Price Cup (50+) and the E.
