Senior Challenge 115 Doubles – 2025 Recap
The Senior Challenge 115 Doubles once again highlighted the high caliber of play, featuring competitive matches, close scorelines, and exceptional sportsmanship. All matches were played off half handicap, with rounds contested over an 8-game set and the final extended to 10 games.
Paul Bolster and Adam Solow opened strongly in the early rounds, while on the top half of the draw, Peter Vogt and Mike Noll looked in commanding form. Vogt and Noll progressed to the final after a hard-fought 8–5 win over Alex Dean and Alec Monaghan. On the bottom half, Anders Cohen and Kenny Soffer dominated their section, reaching the final while dropping only five games across all matches.
The championship final was played to 10 games and delivered excellent tennis from both pairs. Vogt’s accurate serving and Noll’s coverage around the court kept steady pressure on their opponents. Cohen’s trademark spinning railroad serve and sharp volleying earned several key points, while Soffer’s serving spells kept them in contention. However, Vogt and Noll’s consistency ultimately proved too strong as they closed out the match 10–5 to secure the 2025 Senior Challenge 115 Doubles title.
This year’s Senior Challenge once again embodied the competitive spirit, camaraderie, and respect that make this series such a valued fixture on the calendar.
