A harbinger of things to come was a 1st round match between the ageless veteran, Greg Van Schaack and a Van Alen Cup player, 26 year old Will Thompson. Camden Riviere defeated Rob Fahey in straight sets to claim the European Open title. Played at MCC in London, Riviere defeated World Champion, Rob Fahey, 6/3,6/3,6/2. Riviere’s win against Fahey is his first in 27 outings.
