Jay Gould Cup Brings Tennis Back to Georgian Court
US 40’s & 60’s Results
The US 40’s and 60’s, singles and doubles, were held in Tuxedo on May 1-3. Guy Devereux won the 40 Singles over Rich Moroscak. Devereux then teamed up with Moroscak to take the doubles over Simon Aldrich & Charlie Johnstone. In the 60’s Greg Van Schaack prevailed over Duncan Rutherford. Van Schaack and Peter Clement won the Doubles over Alex Walsh & Jonathan Pardee. Complete results for the weekend are attached.

Jimmy Knott Results & Report
The Jimmy Knott singles tournament was played in Boston the weekend of 20-22 March 2009. The draw was compact, but the attendees and spectators were treated to some great, high-level tennis. The matches started on Friday night with two feed-in matches – Ryan Carey played Jeff Horine, and Mike McElroy played Warren Knapp. The first match was between Jeff and Ryan, and was a well-played and long match. Jeff, who plays in Boston, has just gotten into court tennis, but has made great progress, and certainly demonstrated he was fit to play at this level.
