The 2007 Commonwealth Salver was recently held in Boston. This is an annual small, invitational event played each year in Boston with players of other northeast clubs. The tournament is a doubles event and played off handicap.
This year’s winner was John Mears and Alex Spence, both of Boston) over Jeremy Wintersteen (Boston) and John Seitz (NY).
Rob Sheppard, the tournament founder, also served as tournament organizer!
