2024 Gold Racquet
The 2024 Gold Racquet was one of the largest on record with 70 Court Tennis Matches & 71 Rackets matches played over the long President’s Weekend.
Racquets Director Tim Chisholm gave fair warning to the participants that matches will be played at all hours; and to the players credit only (2) pulled out for very good reasons, and we picked up (3) last minute players. The prevailing opinion is that all players had a great time (this author did not hear much grumbling) with matches being played as early as 6 AM and as late as 1:30 AM.

The top 2 US based amateurs faced off in the court tennis singles final after defeating two of the top young British Amateurs in the semi-finals.
Up and coming Rackets superstar Freddie Bristowe (world top 5) showed his class by dominating the Rackets Singles draw and partnering with Noah Motz to win the Spittoon Rackets Doubles.
