The format for this event was (3) four-person round robins with the winners of each round robin and the player with the next highest number of games won progressing through to the semi-finals. After 18 matches and 216 games played, the semi-finalists were set!
· Penny Lumley Flight Winner – Claire Voegele
· Charlotte Cornwallis Flight Winner – Lindsay Maxwell
· Claire Fahey Flight Winner – Serena Mueller
· The player with the most games won not as a flight winner -Margaret Werner
The first semi-final saw a rematch between Serena Mueller and Margaret Werner. Serena hoped for a little revenge from their round-robin match, but Margaret was too strong and moved on to the Finals. Lindsay Maxwell continued to play solid tennis, took advantage of the handicap difference, and won her semi-final versus Claire Voegele. The Final was a back-and-forth affair, with Margaret making fewer unforced errors and becoming the 2024 Anne Boleyn champion with an 8-6 victory.
A big thank you to Stijn Van Nieuwerburgh and Laure Veldkamp for billeting the Philadelphia contingent and also to Max Trueman and Jake Faulise for expertly marking and organizing the tournament.
