US Junior Nationals and Parent/Child — 2006
While the timing of the Junior Nationals and the National Parent/Child on December 15-17 was difficult due to final exams and holiday obligations, the juniors and the parents who did make the excursion to Philadelphia enjoyed themselves tremendously and were treated to first class hospitality in the Philadelphia Racquet Club style.

March was a busy month…Philadelphia hosted the US Open followed by the World Championship Doubles in Boston. In addition to the Pro events there were a number of hotly contested amateur events, including several national championships. And, there’s still lots of tennis left on the schedule!

Play began February 24 amid an air of anticipation. The depth and quality of the field of players had never been greater for a U.S. Open and the members of the Racquet Club of Philadelphia were anxious to see how their Court Tennis Professional, Steve Virgona, would fare against the top players in the world on his home court.
