Cherry Blossom Results

The 2008 Cherry Blossom was a great success with over 40 (if not world class, then certainly high class) players coming from as far away as Australia and from such exotic places as Scotland! The centerpiece of this year’s tournament was a 22-inch Prince’s Court inscribed gong, which was hung in the Winning Gallery.  Why settle for the dainty ring of a cow bell when you could announce your winning shot with the omnipresent sound of a 22-inch gong??  It was great fun to watch people alter their normal course of play to have a shot at hitting the gong. … Read the Full Story >

Chisholm and Virgona kick off 2008 Eliminator Series in Boston

Steve Virgona, World #2 and Senior Professional at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia, squared off against Tennis & Racquet Club member and World #5 Tim Chisholm in Boston on March 3rd to kick off the 2008 Eliminator Series for the World Championship.  An overcapacity crowd of 140 was geared up to watch a rematch of the 2006 Eliminator, which Tim won 7-2.
