National league Results from February 19th: The night started out with Assistant Pro Gabe Kinzler licking his chops to take out Head Pro Rob Whitehouse. How many players??? Wow, we were heading into a record breaking weekend and Tuxedo was ready to welcome the many players, friends and guests to the Park, we came into the Gold Racquets weekend with great anticipation. * Bathurst Cup

The Bathurst Cup will be played on February 17-19 at Holyport. The Bathurst Cup is a team event between the UK, US, Australia and France. The format calls for singles and doubles matches. Representing the US – Jeremy Wintersteen, Rakesh Jasani and Ben Cook. Good Luck to Team USA!

* Hickey Cup 2013 – Chris Hughey Wins!

Prince’s Court hosted this year’s 60+ level tournament. The action began Friday night as players squared off to move onto the semi-final rounds. Top seeded entrants included Chase Motz and Chris Hughey who played strongly in their opening round matches to move on in straight sets. Saturday’s semi-final matches saw two very close matches that both went to three sets. Matt Longley started out strong, but couldn’t hold on in his match against Chris Hughey, with Hughey winning at 3/6 6/5 6/5. *Greevy Cup – Jasani Wins!

Rakesh Jasani defeated Dave Tedeschi, 6/2,6/3, in the finals of the 2013 Greevy Cup. The national level championship for players with handicaps between 20 and 29 was held in Aiken. In the back draw, Andy Roberts defeated Ryan Carey 6/4,6/2.
