* Ellis wins 2014 Noll Cup
The Racquet Club of Philadelphia was proud to host the 2014 Noll Cup for players with handicaps between 30 and 39 this past weekend. Twelve players competed over the weekend which featured a number of highly competitive matches. Dick Tanfield benefitted from a home court advantage coupled with strong serving to make his way to the final. Geoff Ellis had an epic quarterfinal match against Tom Pickin winning 6-5 in the third set. Ellis played a good semifinal against Matt Fraidin with a 6-4, 6-5 win to secure his spot in the final. * Tuxedo Eliminator Info: Chisholm vs. Riviere
Tuxedo will host the first leg of the eliminator series between Tim Chisholm and Camden Riviere. The match will take place on February 13. Info on the match can be found here. The second and third (if needed) will be played in Newport on February 22 & 24.
