The 2009 US 50’s Singles and Doubles finals, originally scheduled for Boston, have been postponed and will be played in New York. The date is to be announced. The finals will be: Singles – Simon Aldrich vs. George Bell Doubles – Aldrich/ Charlie Johnstone vs. Bell/ Greg Van Schaack Dates will be posted as soon as they are available.

Sorry for the inconvenience…Tuesday’s showing of “Origins of Tennis” was pre-empted by a replay of the 2009 US Men’s Open Final – imagine that! At any rate, this is the latest information we have. June 17-21, 2009…Newport The winners were: A Division: Rich Smith & Pat Winthrop B Division: Andy Segal & Arthur Whitcomb C Division: Phoebe Livingston & Jacob Mason Complete results are attached.
The US 40’s and 60’s, singles and doubles, were held in Tuxedo on May 1-3. Guy Devereux won the 40 Singles over Rich Moroscak. Devereux then teamed up with Moroscak to take the doubles over Simon Aldrich & Charlie Johnstone. In the 60’s Greg Van Schaack prevailed over Duncan Rutherford. Van Schaack and Peter Clement won the Doubles over Alex Walsh & Jonathan Pardee. Complete results for the weekend are attached.
