Gordon & Howard McMorris won their first US Parent Child title by defeating Paul & Alec Monaghan. The tournament was played at Georgian Court on January 16-17.

The World Masters events will be held in the UK this Spring. The team championships – playing for the Cockram, Danby & Bostwick Cups – will be held on April 9-11. Steve Virgona will face Bryn Sayers in the first round of the World Championship Eliminators. The format is the best of 3, 5 set matches. The first match will be played at Seacourt on February 10th. The second and possible third legs will be played in Philadelphia on February 17th and 19th.
