John Motz didn’t let age get the better of him as he won the US40s Singles Championship 6-1 6-5 over a hobbled Bill Barker. The finalists teamed up to take on Hufford/Zug in the Doubles Final. Hufford and Zug got off to a blistering start taking the first set 6/1 to the surprise on the gallery. However, Motz/Barker finally gained their second wind and in doing so gained the second set 6/5 in a tense final game.
