* Thorndike wins US Jr Nationals -UPDATED

The 2011 Junior Nationals turned out to be an all Aiken field. Four players participated  in an initial round robin format playing a ten game pro set against each-other in order to be seeded for the semis and finals in each of the age group categories. Unfortunately, one player, George Handy Jr.,   was delayed in returning from a college visit, so he missed the round robin, as a result he became the lowest seed in the 18 + Under and the 21 and Under divisions. Steve Virgona defeated Rob Fahey in the finals of the 2011 Links Pump Australian Open.  The Final Score was 6/5 6/5 6/4.  Virgona then teamed up with Fahey to win the Doubles title!
