USCTA President’s Letter from Dacre C Stoker
I have recently been elected by the USCTA Board of Governors to serve as your President for the next three years. I bring plenty of experience to this new role, as I have served on the board for twenty-two years as Aiken representative, Membership Chair and Vice President. It is indeed my honor to represent you all in my new capacity.
I would like to start by thanking the outgoing President, Mary Livingston, who very successfully served between 2021-2024. I am happy to say that Mary will continue to serve on the USCTA board, where she will co-chair with Jonathan Crowell the Tournament Policies Committee, and she will continue to represent the USCTA on several international committees.
I would also like to thank Mark Beaumont who rotated off the USCTA Board this year. He is replaced by Andrew Peabody. Rahul Vinnakota becomes first VP, Jonathan Lewis takes on the role of second VP, Adam Inselbuch has agreed to remain as Secretary, Zach Sachs remains as our Membership chair and Charlie Katz , continues as our Treasurer, which rounds out the Executive Committee.
I have a few general goals to share with you all:
• Continue to focus on developing and expanding our USCTA membership, help them enjoy the game and to compete nationally and internationally
• Assist our US-based professionals by increasing prize money in pro events
• Strengthening and revitalizing the USCTA committees
• Working with the USCTPF in defining our roles and supporting their fundraising and preservation efforts
• Help identify the best way to assist the Paris club raise the funds they need to preserve their historic court and remain functioning as a club
