After two weeks of play, May 10-24, at four US clubs (New York, Newport, Philadelphia, Tuxedo Park) eighteen new World Masters champions emerged from the battles, including ten from the US. Great Britain’s teams all won championships, both Australia and France played extremely well in short-sided situations, and the US teams can celebrate well-contested finals, exemplary support by all clubs, and warm hospitality extended to a field of over ninety players.
