We had another incredible Jimmy Dunn weekend down here in Philadelphia, with all the draws filled to the brim. We were also blessed to host the World Championship Racquets between defending champion, James Stout and challenger, William Hopton. We witnessed the best racquets ever played here with James Stout winning the first leg four games to love.
The Tennis saw the biggest turnout in Jimmy Dunn history with 88 players participating. With the majority of participants playing in multiple events, Squash, Doubles Squash and Racquets all courts were buzzing throughout the weekend. With a hectic time schedule the Pro Shop and players did a fantastic job completing 53 matches in 4 days. Going into the weekend Ed Noll was quoted “Wow, there are going to be some barn burners this weekend!” Noll’s prediction was spot on with 10 matches going the distance to the third and final set.
Hope to see everyone back next year for another Jimmy Dunn.
